Terms of Service
Effective 20 October 2026. By using Hivox you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Hivox is a communication service operated by HiroArt (“we”). We provide it free of charge and without ads, as apps for Android and Windows and as the Hivox Web client.
2. Who may use Hivox
You must be 18 or older to use Hivox. Provide a valid email when you sign up. You are responsible for the security of your devices, your recovery code and access to your account.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use Hivox to:
- break the law, or share illegal content or content that exploits children,
- harass, threaten, defraud or spam others,
- spread malware, disrupt or overload the service, or circumvent its security,
- impersonate anyone.
You can report or block inappropriate content and users right in the app.
4. Your content
The content you send belongs to you. Because it is end-to-end encrypted, we can't read it. You grant us only the permission needed to transmit and deliver it.
5. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may restrict or close accounts for serious or repeated violations of these terms.
6. Availability and liability
We work to keep Hivox reliable but can't guarantee uninterrupted availability. Hivox is not a replacement for emergency services. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for content users send each other.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll notify you of material changes in advance in the app or by email.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. This does not affect any rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.
