Delete your account
You can delete your Hivox account at any time, in the app or on the web.
In the app
- Open the ⋮ menu → About.
- Choose Account & privacy → Delete account.
- Confirm the deletion.
Without the app
If you can't access the app, fill in the account deletion form.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile (name, email, photo).
- Your list of linked devices and notification tokens.
- Encrypted messages and attachments still waiting on the server for delivery.
What remains
Messages you've already sent stay on recipients' devices — we have no access to them. Any data we must keep by law is deleted once the legal retention period ends.
